Altered Die State "Peg Legs"
These Peg Legs were created by the polishing (or abrading) done to the area between Ike's head and the "R" on the working or master dies.

Doubled Dies !!!This System is Evolving!!!and is under development!
Note.
Posted pictures of a specific doubled die Ike, that have NOT been attributed on a TPG holder, will be marked as "Unconfirmed". The photographs as shown with “OUR PICTURES” will define the Ike Group Working Die, which created the coin. At the same time, we will do our best to cross reference with other authorities (Wiles, Wexler, Fivaz).
Please realize that photographs published in existing catalogs, while helpful, can never be 100% congruent with the coins themselves due to variables such as, die state & mechanical doubling . Also, the photographs in existing catalogs are limited in scope and sometimes in clarity. This is the reason our web-based photographs will serve as our "definition" of a given Ike Group designated "Collectible" Ike doubled die Coin.
