Error submission grades posted...

Postby Sumdunce on Tue Oct 06, 2009 8:41 pm

I sent in the massive struck through, the double clipped 1976-D T1, and a minor struck through 1976-D T2 and the grades posted today.

1 1 7407 1971-D $1 US AU58 (massive struck through) expected at best AU58.
2 1 7420 1976-D $1 Type 1 US MS63 (double clipped, partial collar, struck through debris) was hoping to see MS64 or better.
3 1 7421 1976-D $1 Type 2 US MS62 (minor struck through reverse, by the bell clapper) was expecting AU58.

Very happy with the result on the 1971-D.

I will have to see what I missed on the MS63.

Brian,

I wouldn't even know where to start on pricing something like that.

Some of my coins will be going up on the auction block in the near future. I am loathe to sell anything but the water heater burst in my house and drained all my cruise money (and so much more). So in order to afford a fun vacation early next year some coins will be leaving. I have yet to decide what will stay and what will go.
